Career turnaround – Tze’s story

When Tze joined Better Working Futures, he had been made redundant and wanted our support to start working in a new sector.

Our team in Croydon was on hand to provide Tze with information on sectors and roles that he would be suitable for. Tze’s Employment Adviser, Ross, worked with him to tailor his CV and create a plan of action to find suitable and sustainable employment.

Since using his new ‘gold standard’ CV, Tze told us how he received a lot more responses than previously, and it wasn’t long before he was invited to interview.

After preparation with mock interview questions and answers with Ross, Tze got a call offering him the job at his local estate agents as a sales and lettings negotiator!

The Better Working Futures team was on-hand to support Tze on his financial transition back into employment; Tze was reimbursed with his travel costs for appointments and his interviews and provided with vouchers to buy new clothes to start work with.
