Working together to be more inclusive

As a Disability Confident Leader, we are committed to amplifying the support available to employers who have employees with disabilities and long-term health conditions.

More than two thirds of our South London participants who start working have a declared disability, so we are committed to working with South London employers to help them review and improve their inclusive employment practices.

Last month, together with South London Partnership, we hosted the Inclusive Employer Conference. The event brought together South London employers with a range of key speakers – experts around inclusivity in the workplace – to talk about what more we can be doing to foster inclusive workforces, retain talent and reduce absenteeism in our organisations.

The event offered practical guidance to those in attendance around how to review and improve inclusion across their employment practices.

We are looking forward to hosting more events and bring more people together to increase inclusivity in the workplace.
